Julia Fiona Roberts, born 28th October 1967 on the 28th of October, 1967 in Atlanta in the United States to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Julia Fona Roberts is the 4th generation Roberts that resided in Atlanta. Her father took keen interest from a young age in theater. As a student in Emory University he appeared in diverse productions, both at and off the campus. He joined the Air Force and while stationed in Biloxi in Mississippi, he appeared in a show with Betty Lou Bredemus. They married in 1955. Their first child, Eric Anthony, was born in the year 1956. Walter was enrolled in Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In 1957, the couple were discharged from the air force and Walter began studying at Tulane. Walter was hired as a technician by Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to be a part of the production team for the show Bum Bum and His Buddies. The show was filmed in Decatur Georgia. The year 1964 was when Walter as well as Betty Lou began production on a local Saturday morning children's television show known as Bum Bum and His Buddies that they funded their own. The Actors and Writers Workshop was established in 1964 and lasted for six years. Lelisa Billingsley often referred to as Lisa, was born in 1965. Julia Billingsley followed in 1967.
