Annie Murphy

Annie Murphy, aka Anne Frances Murphy was born on 19th December in 1986. Her nationality is Canadian but she works in Hollywood. The most well-known role she has played is in Alexis Rose, a CBC television sitcom series Schitt's Creek. It premiered in 2015 and ended the year 2020. For her role, she received critical acclaim and won the Primetime Emmy Award. She was born to Ottawa Ontario Canada. Her parents both worked as teachers. Elmwood School Ottawa was where she began performing on the stage. Following her graduation at Concordia University with a theatre degree, she joined the Canadian Film Centre's Actor's College. In the following years, she was a part of courses at the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory where acting was taught. Then she moved from Toronto to Los Angeles in her early 20s and began to pursue acting. Annie Murphy's acting career started in 2007 in which she made her first appearance on television with a crime-thriller film called Lethal Obsession. The actress continued to act as a small, and even extra roles in various films. Certain of these films were very successful, like Story of Jen in 2008 Lick which came out in the year 2010 and another huge smash A Windigo Tale. In addition, she's had appearances in Canadian television programs such as Good God that was aired during 2012. Rookie Blue from the season prior to that. The actress has demonstrated she is able to work on many different acting projects. In the beginning of her professional career Annie was struggling as an actress and was having a difficult time trying to show her worth as a professional and gain notoriety. Her outstanding performances helped make her a star of the entertainment and film industry. Many of her TV shows from the US are also worth watching.
