The family was raised to Rochester, New York, Sharp was immersed in music and was a clarinet player as well as piano and cello at the highly regarded Hochstein School of Music. The Boston Conservatory offered her an award for the school's theatre. Following her graduation from Cum Laude with a B.F.A. Sharp decided to make a move into theater after completing her Cum Laude degree with an B.F.A. Sharp was a part of her first Broadway National Tour of Carousel. She made her debut Off Broadway in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. And she played eight roles in the comedy interactive Eat the Runt. Other theatre productions include: Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp read alongside playwright August Wilson himself. Apart from her roles on the screen and stage, Sharp has several other original projects in the works she has written or co-written. A full-length recording is on the way. Sharp also performs. Sharp is an exercise enthusiast who enjoys boxing as well as study Krav Maga. When not working behind or in front of the camera, or capturing songs in the studio Sharp enjoys long, drives, playing the piano and hiking. Sharp resides with her spouse and two children and lives in Los Angeles.
