Katherine Jean Bolduan, also popularly known as Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist from the United States. The most famously known is that she's the host of CNN's morning program At This Hour. Her previous roles included co-host for the CNN weekday Morning Programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan has been part of CNN s award-winning coverage of the 2016 and 2012 presidential election. Bolduan has also been a correspondent for Congress based at Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan was a reporter for legislative and congressional events, such as the negotiations for raising the federal debt ceiling and super committee discussions. Additionally, she worked as a general-assignment correspondent covering topics like the Christmas Day terrorist attack of 2009, the Supreme Court's decision regarding Obamacare in addition to the 2009 implementation of the stimulus plan. The reporter joined CNN Newsource in the year 2007.
