Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American broadcast journalist. She is most well-known as anchoring CNN's morning show At This Hour. Her previous roles included cohost of the CNN Monday Morning Programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan has been a part of CNN's award-winning coverage for the presidential elections in 2012 and 2016. Bolduan has also been an official correspondent for the congressional office in Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan was an active Capitol Hill Unit member when she covered the congressional cycle and events such as the discussion of raising the federal credit limit or the deliberations of the super committee. The work she has done for her general assignments included reporting on Christmas Day, the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the Government's stimulus program in 2009. She was hired by CNN in 2007 as a correspondent for the national news for CNN Newsource. As an CNN Newsource National Correspondent, she covered breaking news for more than 800 CNN Newsource partners and provided news reports on features. She has been employed at NBC News MSNBC as well as WTVD-TV. Her current home is living in New York City together with her husband, two sons and two grandchildren.
