Katherine Jean Bolduan, also popularly known as Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist. She is most well-known as anchoring CNN's morning show At This Hour. In the past, she was the co-anchor on CNN's morning show New Day as well as The Situation Room. Bolduan was part of CNN the award-winning news coverage of the 2016 and 2012 presidential election. She also spent time in Washington DC as a correspondent for the US House, and US Senate. Bolduan's reporting on congressional activities and events during her time as a member of the Capitol Hill Unit included the negotiation to increase the debt ceiling for the US, as well as debates by the supercommittee. The work she has done for her general assignments included reporting regarding Christmas Day, the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the government's stimulus plan in 2009. Her first assignment was with CNN Newsource in 2007. She wrote feature stories as well as breaking news to more than 800 CNN Newsource Affiliates as a national reporter.
