Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. Her most well-known role is as anchorwoman of CNN's morning show At This Hour. She was also the co-anchor of CNN's Monday morning shows New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was one of CNN s award-winning coverage of the 2012 and 2016 presidential elections. Her previous experience includes working as a Washington DC based correspondent, covering both the US House and Senate. Bolduan's reports on the activities of Congress and events during her time as an official of the Capitol Hill Unit included the negotiation to increase the debt limit for the US and debates by the supercommittee. Additionally, she was a general assignment correspondent and reported on topics such as that of the Christmas Day terrorist attack of 2009, the Supreme Court's decision regarding Obamacare in addition to the implementation in 2009 of the stimulus program. She joined CNN in 2007 as a correspondent for the national news in CNN Newsource. She worked as the CNN Newsource national correspondent, covering breaking news as well as reportage on feature stories to more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliated stations. In the past, she was a reporter for NBC News MSNBC and WTVD-TV. She lives in New York City, with her husband and their two kids.
