Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast journalist. The most famously known is that she's the host of CNN's morning show At This Hour. Earlier she co-anchored the CNN on weekdays mornings New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan is part of CNN's award-winning presidential election coverage from 2012. Bolduan worked as a Washington DC-based congressional correspondent covering activities in Congress, the US House of Representatives and Senate. Bolduan has covered legislative and congressional activities, like the negotiations for raising the debt ceiling of the US and the super committee's discussions. Bolduan has worked as an associate reporter on general assignments. She covered such stories as the Christmas Day 2009 bombing attempt as well as the Supreme Court's historic decision on Obamacare. Bolduan also reported on the government's stimulus plans for 2009. She began working for CNN the year 2007 to become a correspondent for the national news for CNN Newsource. As a correspondent for the national network, she covered breaking news and feature news to more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliates.
