Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American broadcast journalist. The most recognizable role she has played is anchorwoman for CNN's morning program At This Hour. She had previously been a co-host for the CNN Monday Morning Programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan is a member of CNN's prestigious presidential election coverage for 2012. Bolduan also worked as an official correspondent for the congressional office at Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan's coverage of congressional events and other events in her time as an official of the Capitol Hill Unit included the discussion to increase the debt ceiling for the United States and deliberations by the super-committee. Bolduan has worked as an associate reporter on general assignments, covering such stories such as Christmas Day 2009 bombing attempt as well as the Supreme Court's historic decision in the case of Obamacare. Also, she covered the government's stimulus plans for 2009. She was hired by CNN Newsource as National Correspondent back in 2007.
