Ellie Goulding is a British musician and singer. Her birth name is Elena Jane Goulding on 30 December, 1986 in Hereford. Ellie Goulding, a British musician and singer who gained fame in 2010, when her smash songs Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed attracted the attention of the public. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has been at the cutting edge of the movement, just like Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap of contemporary mainstream music and of independent, artistic pop. Her soprano voice and ability to write emotionally authentic songs is what makes her unique. Polydor Records signed her to an agreement with a record label and she started preparing for the debut album.
